Eddie (now Bear)

 

One day, you wake up and your in a shelter with hundreds of other dogs.  And you wonder what's going on.

 

Then some people come and get you at the shelter, and you're placed in a kennel with a bunch of dogs and you and your friends get to spend your weekends outside.  People keep looking in your crate and saying what a beautiful dog you are and how good you are.  Sometimes they take you for a walk and then leave with another dog.  Week after week, you always go back to the kennel - which isn't all bad.

 

One day, someone takes you from the kennel and brings you to her house.  And you have two new dog friends and children to play with.  And mom and dad are around all the time.  And you overlook a pond and have nice shade to lie in.

 

Life is pretty good.
