Pet of the Month: Jake

I'm Jake, a 100 lb Portuguese Mastiff mix. I am potty trained and walk nicely on a leash. I'm good with dogs of similar size and energy, as well as kids 10 yrs and up - due to my size.

I go right in my kennel at bedtime, like a good boy. I like to play with toys in the yard and bask in the sunshine. I know sit, down, place and to wait at thresholds.

I love a good ear or belly rub. My foster mom describes me as affectionate, good natured and full of life.

Contact PITC to take me home. I can't wait to be a part of your family!

Paws in the City is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, no-kill organization with the commitment to ending the overpopulation, abuse, and neglect of Dallas/Ft. Worth area dogs. We have no paid staff. 100% of all funds raised goes directly to dogs in need. Our goal is that every adoptable dog gets a loving home.

Please be mindful that PITC is a volunteer organization and our lifesaving efforts are performed in our spare time.  We ask for patience while we respond.
