Sampson's Tale

Sampson is one of three German Sheppard pups who was rescued from the streets of Dallas by a wonderful volunteer and our friends over at Duck Team 6. This volunteer received a call one Saturday morning about three puppies seen trying to cross a busy street near a wooded area in southwest Dallas, so she went to see if she could find them... more.

Liberty's Story

For those of you who are not familiar with Liberty and her pups, let's get you up to speed. Liberty is a Pit Bull who was very, very preggo at the Dallas Animal Shelter. One of our pit foster and huge animal advocate volunteers spotted this girl and just couldn't let her die. She begged us to share her on Facebook. After a whirlwind of responses and support from our Facebook fans, we pulled this mom-to-be and her unborn pups. That was July 1, 2013... more.

Paws in the City is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, no-kill organization with the commitment to ending the overpopulation, abuse, and neglect of Dallas/Ft. Worth area dogs. We have no paid staff. 100% of all funds raised goes directly to dogs in need. Our goal is that every adoptable dog gets a loving home.

Please be mindful that PITC is a volunteer organization and our lifesaving efforts are performed in our spare time.  We ask for patience while we respond.
