Sponsor an Animal in Need

Paws in the City regularly takes in animals with extensive but treatable medical needs.  Mom and her puppies are removed from shelters as the puppies have such weak immune systems that their chances of survival are minimal.  Dogs with heartworm or mange are placed immediately on the kill list as their treatments are costly and can last several months.  The same is true for cats with respiratory infections. These, and many others, are cases that with treatment are very adoptable.   We post appeals to our supporters to help us provide the care needed.

Say hello to Sampson.  Sampson was rescued from Dallas Animal Services after a good Samaritan and the wonderful people over at Duck Team 6 found this guy and a few littermates wandering a wooded area near southwest Dallas.  Upon examination by a vet it was believed that young Sampson here had been struck by a car and severly injured his left leg and would need surgery in order to recover.  Sampson has since received the proper care and is now resting comfortably in a foster home. Sampson road to recovery is not a short one. If you would like to contribute to Sampson's recovery through a donation please flollow the link below. Thanks!

For any questions regarding the sponsorship of an animal here or others in our care please contact info@pawsinthecity.org.

Paws in the City is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, no-kill organization with the commitment to ending the overpopulation, abuse, and neglect of Dallas/Ft. Worth area dogs. We have no paid staff. 100% of all funds raised goes directly to dogs in need. Our goal is that every adoptable dog gets a loving home.
